iWeb Buddy shows oops page not found as thumbnails instead of actual pages

I have two primary issues and I am not sure if they are related. The first issue is that I publish through iWeb by FTP to GoDaddy and when I use iWeb Buddy to update Google Analytics on my website I get oops page not found thumbnails in iWeb instead of the actual website. The more pressing problem is I do not believe that I am getting accurate Google Analytics information for my site. The tags appear to be in the .html files for each page so I think the application is working properly, but I have done some stress tests and they don't seem to match what Google is telling me. Are the problems related? If not, what are some possible causes for the Google Analytics problem?

    Hi Leslie,

For the thumbnails can you please quit iWeb Buddy and in Finder go to the Library/Caches/com.zarrastudios.iwebbuddy folder and delete it and then relaunch iWeb Buddy. I've attached a screenshot to show you the folder I mean.

Regarding Google analytics, it can take 24 hours for GA to report what happens on your site so if you are doing tests then you may have to wait a day before you see Google reporting the results properly. In addition I think (and I'm not 100% sure about this) that they do some tracking via cookies and ignore your own activities.

    All the best,

    Simon

i've had friends go on and test it for me, and they didn't show up. and this was some days ago, so i've given it time...

i had 10 different friends do it in one hour's time.

we'll try the other idea and let you know!

    thanks

Can you let me have your site address so that I can check that the GA code is being added to the pages properly.

    Thanks.

Thanks. As long as your GA code is UA-18308616-1 then it is being added properly so I'm now at a bit of a loss as to why you are getting incorrect results reported.

If you are actually getting Google analytics data back and it just seems to be wrong then I'm not sure that we can be much more help and you may have to approach Google for help. Once the code has been embedded in your pages there's not much more we can do I'm afraid.

    All the best,

    Simon

I tried to clear the cache but iWeb Buddy still reloaded the oops pages.

Okay, can you please send me the iWeb Buddy log files. You can do this via the Help menu in iWeb Buddy (and see the attached screenshot).

    Many thanks.
