OSX 10.6.4
iWeb Buddy 1.5.2

You recently helped me fix a processing error that was caused a space in the name of my website. I deleted the space and it seems to work fine. But during that entire process, i deleted the iWeb Buddy xml file so i have to start over and key stroke the settings for all my pages.

From iWeb, I am publishing to a folder on my desktop. Then processing with iWeb Buddy and then FTPing the files to my server. I currently have old files on my server that were processed prior to deleting the xml file so currently all pages of my website have page titles. The index page is the first page that i have started to re-enter new iWeb Buddy settings. But for some reason, the page title is not showing up in Safari or firefox. www.weldhouse.com

Any thoughts on what is wrong? i have attached a screen shot showing that i have typed in my settings. Next i process the selection and then upload the index.html file to my server but nothing changes when i view the live website.

Thanks for you help.

    Hi Joel,

Can you please do three things for me:

    1. Attach your local index file to a reply.
    2. Try adding a page title or keywords or a description to another page, process it and attach that too.
    3. Send me the logs from iWeb Buddy. You can do that via the 'Submit Log Files' item in the Help menu. I've attached a screenshot to show you exactly what I mean.

    Many thanks.

    Simon,

I have attached the index file.

I ran new page title and description settings for a second page and it
worked fine. There is just something different about the index page that it
wont accept your code. perhaps i should create a new page for index?

I attached the new page that did work fine. it is called "house"

I just sent you my log files.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Joel,

Thank you for the logs. The index.html file appears to be being processed without any errors so if you can also send me your processed, local index.html file and also try adding a page title or keywords or a description to another page, process it and send me that too I'd be very grateful.

    All the best,

    Simon
