Help
Hi- love the product, but it appears that even though i added GA to all of my site, only 3 of the pages are getting seen by GA. When i look at the site through GA content overlay, it is clear that it is only viewing 3 of my pages. Any ideas? I am using 1.5 beta. and have snow leopard.
Thanks.

Dov,
I am sorry that you are having issues. What is the URL of your website so that I can investigate?

Thank you. I looked at the site and there are definitely pages where I am not seeing any fingerprints from iWeb Buddy at all. Therefore I suspect the issue is with the workflow.
Generally the workflow is as follows:
If you are publishing to MobileMe, that is usually all you need.
If, however, you are publishing to your own server (using iWeb '08) or your local disk (using iWeb '09) then you need to add a few steps:
iWeb Buddy is a post processor for iWeb. This means that it alters the files that iWeb writes rather than the actual iWeb datafiles. Whenever you publish from iWeb you then need to process the pages from iWeb Buddy so that it can make the appropriate changes.
In addition, iWeb Buddy will only "process" the pages that you select. Therefore if you select your blog page for example, it will only review and process the blog and will ignore any other pages. Therefore I recommend the following steps:
This will make sure that every page has the GA code added.
After that is complete, any time you update a page and upload it to your site, run iWeb Buddy and either let it scan the entire site or select just the pages you changed and have it process those.

I went through several pages randomly and I am seeing the code block in place. You should start seeing data in Analytics soon.

My apologies, I did not look at the GA code close enough but instead just confirmed it existed. The issue, now, is that you have the code entered multiple times into the text field. While this is a bug in iWeb Buddy, it is something you can easily fix:
Once you have done that we next need to replace those codes on your site. Since iWeb Buddy will not update the code if it is already in place we need to refresh your site. To do this:
This will update all of the pages with the proper code.

But isn’t that why I did the Iweb buddy to a local folder in the first place- it was not putting the code on all the pages....why will it work now?

It did put the code in all of the pages. The issue, however, is that you had entered the code more than once into the settings sheet. So instead of injecting the code with the account number of UA-12347313-1, it actually was pushing the code with the account number of:
UA-12347313-1
UA-12347313-1
UA-12347313-1
UA-12347313-1
UA-12347313-1
So the stats data was being sent to Google, but Google could not understand the account number.
