iWeb Buddy not staying current
Greetings
I purchased iBuddy last week, primarily to add key words to my iWeb site. I have a number of issues.
1) I have used Settings to set up Google Analytics and Google is tracking the site, so that works. There is a basic connection.
2) I've made an entry in Site Description & Site Keywords in the top level of iWeb Buddy browser, and in one page (with one word entries for comparison). I was not getting any hits on Google Search so I looked at the code with Safari > View > View Source. I don't see any any of the keywords. I also did a search for some of them. (Comm-F) None found.
3) I am a bit confused by the Site Keywords entry panel. Does each line entry added with the + button consist of a keyword phrase, or can there be comma separated phrases in each line?
4) As I have continued to work in iWeb, I notice that page changes don't appear in iWeb Buddy? New pages appear, but older ones, even with complete page revisions don't refresh. Is there a way to overcome this?
5) Finally, some elements, particularly video, don't appear in iWeb Buddy. This I suppose is O.K., The pages are just for reference.
Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug,
Regarding the missing keywords, could you please send me your iWeb Buddy log files. You can do this via the Help Manu -> Submit Log Files. This will hopefully help me track down the issue.
Yes, each line in the keywords entry panel should be used for one keyword phrase. Having said that I'm not sure I've ever tried adding comma separated phrases on one line so I'll have a look into that and get back to you about it.
We've had another person mention the issue of pages not refreshing properly and it is something we are looking into for version 1.6 which is currently in development. In the meantime you can try manually deleting the files in the iWeb Buddy cache, essentially the files in the your user account's Library/Caches/com.zarrastudios.iwebbuddy folder (I've attached a screenshot which might make this clearer).
The pages we show in iWeb Buddy are simply meant to be representative of the actual pages, more of a way of helping you identify or confirm the identify of a page.
All the best,
Simon

Simon
Having only one keyword phrase per line (no comma separated phrases) resolved the issue. Keywords are now showing in the header when I "View Source" in Safari. Google spiders still aren't finding me, but, that's not iWeb Buddy problem.
Removing the cache did allow the iWeb Buddy images to refresh. They don't need to be current, I know they were only a convenient representation, but I had made a few dramatic changes and it was confusing me.
Thanks for your quick response. All issues are resolved.
