Merging iWeb Buddy work to a new computer
we bought a new iMac for the home and i want to move my iWeb Domain file and the iWeb Buddy content to the new computer. Where do i locate the content files on the old computer? and where to i copy them to the new computer so that i can continue where i left off?
thank you,
Joel
I already have iWeb Buddy application on the new machine, but now i need to add the work ive already done off the old machine onto the new one.

Both iWeb and iWeb Buddy store their data files in your home directory under Library and then Application Support. If you copy over the two directories that you find in there you will have all of the data at you need.
You can also connect the two machines together and let OS X migrate your user account over. That will also copy the files.

Hi Joel,
It looks like the caching of the page thumbnails has gone wrong. The easiest way to resolve this is to close down iWeb Buddy and delete your user's Library/Caches/com.zarrastudios.iWebBuddy folder (screenshot attached to make it a bit clearer where you can find this).
If it is any consolation, the thumbnails are not important in the operation of iWeb Buddy so the processing of your iWeb site will still occur properly.
All the best,
Simon
